The recent results from the question on whether we believe in our news sources tells a somewhat scary story. If we don't necessarily believe that what we are being told is unbiased, what will this bias do to our mental models? Could this bias about news cause people to come together or create an even greater gap in our beliefs?

The results also beg the question, 'If we don't believe that our news sources are unbiased, how can make sure that we are well informed about the issues that impact our lives?"
