HI Prinny,,,
Thanks for signing on to hopebubble. First a note for you, then our standard 'welcome' message.
What we are trying to do is gain a better understanding of how our mental models impact the decisions and actions we make. This entire project is an outcome of a conversation I had the night of the election in your country, when a friend of mine said that he wasn't too worried about who would win, but how everything that is going on in the world would impact the hopes that people had for Mr. Obama to be able to really deliver change. The words he used were something like, 'I am worried that the bubble of hope might burst.' From that, we embarked on this project...which has been great fun, and is providing a wealth of information. I am happy that you have 'joined' in with us to make this site a viable one, and I encourage you to share the site with others - the more people whose insights are made visible, the better the data will be. Thanks again Prinny. Now, the standard 'welcome' message.
hopebubble is an opportunity for all of us to be able to share our concerns about whether we will be able to achieve our hopes and dreams. With so many things in our lives seemingly beyond the scope of our control, being able to share our beliefs, our hopes, and our dreams is truly important. I encourage you to respond to the questions every two weeks, as well as encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to do the same.
Each time a new set of questions are posted, the collected results from the previous questions will be posted so you can see how others feel about the people and events that are taking us into the future.
